I designed this attachment while learning to close dura in craniotomy cases. However, the technique of using fine suture to close thin tissues is a skill utilized across surgical specialties including plastics, vascular, general, OB/GYN, ENT, and Ophthalmology
The membrane mimic can be a surgical glove cut in a circle or a simple Tegaderm. The cylinder attachment is hollow to mimic suturing without being use the tissue to support the needle. This requires ultimate control of the surgical needle.
Great for use with surgical loupes and under the surgical microscope.
